Have a fundraising story to share? We want to hear yours!

Welcome! We’re excited you decided to check out our blog. Join us again next week to see what’s new. We’re delighted to tell you more about us—and we want to hear from you!

So on that note, Christine and I launched our full-service development consulting firm after collectively spending 40 years in development and membership. We’ve served in or supported every role from development associate to director of development—and everything in between—together, and separately. And with that experience, we’ve learned a thing or two since we’ve seen a thing or two; we both love that Farmers Insurance commercial. Thank goodness we haven’t dealt with a moose and a swing set.

What we have done is put out the fires, stuffed the envelopes, submitted a grant at 4:59 PM, and swapped event venues when the original one went under unplanned renovations.  And, we’ve enjoyed the successes; the ones that made us cautiously optimistic while taking none of them for granted. We’ve helped grow and sustain our donor bases, planned exciting events that drew record attendance, hired whole departments, and attained those first-time grants where we developed our best proposal—and then waited.

What does that mean for you? It means we get it. We’ve been in your shoes. We understand the joys, the frustrations, the fatigue, and above all: the need. You. Are. Doing. It. Accomplishing amazing results—while ever focused on the work ahead. Sometimes you need another perspective, a different voice, an experienced mentor, new strategies, additional expertise, or just an extra pair of hands. We can do all of that for you and your organization.

When you need help, or before you need help, call us. Let’s talk about how we can raise results for your organization today and tomorrow.

Visit us again, right here, and on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, for more tips, stories, insights, and thoughts to help you raise results.

Cheers,

Alison

PS: What’s my favorite story? When we meet, ask me about how I carried a cardboard moving box filled with cash through a crowd of 50,000 people who were enjoying a 52-acre botanic garden—truly epic membership sales!
